PlayFACTO School and the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore opportunities to create meaningful visual arts learning experiences for young learners.
PlayFACTO is a leading premium student care and enrichment provider in Singapore, established in 2015 and now serving young learners across more than 75 centres islandwide. Going beyond conventional academic support, PlayFACTO is committed to creating meaningful learning experiences that nurture students’ creativity, confidence, critical thinking and ability to express themselves. Its strong heritage in visual arts and extensive network of practising artists and educators provide learners with authentic exposure to the creative process and the opportunity to learn from those actively shaping Singapore’s vibrant arts scene.
Bringing together PlayFACTO’s experience in children’s education and NAFA’s expertise in arts education, this collaboration reflects a shared belief that every young learner has the potential to see the world differently, find their unique voice and turn imagination into meaningful expression. Through this partnership, students will have the opportunity to develop their visual arts skills under the guidance of renowned local artists and award-winning practitioners, gaining first-hand insights into their creative journeys, artistic practices and experiences within Singapore’s vibrant arts scene. Beyond developing technical skills, students will be encouraged to nurture their creativity, confidence and individual artistic voice, while discovering the joy and possibilities that the visual arts can offer.
This MoU marks the start of a shared commitment to expand the ways young people can experience, engage with and grow through the visual arts. Together, PlayFACTO and NAFA look forward to nurturing curiosity, creative confidence and individual expression — giving young learners the foundation and freedom to discover where their creativity can take them.
