Are You Developing Your Child’s Brain Today?
Did you know that your child’s frontal brain is developing really quickly from the ages of 3?
But why should we develop our preschooler’s frontal brain?
- Better academic performance. The front part of the brain improves problem-solving, and preschoolers can better grasp concepts and problem sums.
- Better able to manage behaviour and reactions. When children can problem-solve, they are less likely to have outbursts and be better able to reason – even after a fit.
- Better focus. This is important when going to primary school – this leads to better learning outcomes.
- Develop independence as self-regulation helps children make better decisions and behave in new situations without mummy or daddy around.
- Cope better with stress because children learn that they can manage their emotions, which gives them the ability to calm down after getting frustrated.

So how should I develop my preschooler’s frontal brain?
1. Read Stories!
At our PlayFACTO Kids math programmes, we use stories to teach math.
Our real-world stories introduce math problems that give children opportunities for a brain workout.
The stories come with props and a big book for children to interact with them.
2. Brain Activities
We use a variety of activities!
Here we get them to draw, trace, stick, colour – by using these activities to strengthen math concepts.
We even attached stickers and game cards, so our parents need not scout for them.
3. Play Games!
Albert Einstein shared that “Play is the highest form of research.”
And so, we help structure play with a series of mind-boggling games to help children apply the math concepts learnt earlier.
We even provide high-quality wooden manipulatives as kids love to play with natural materials.
4. Reflection
With reflection, our children get opportunities to retain the math concepts acquired.
When our parents take home these learning tools and colourful workbooks, they can revise concepts learnt earlier on.
