PlayFACTO Enrichment Series

Our enrichment programmes are designed by our in-house curriculum team, consisting of ex-MOE teachers and specialised enrichment trainers for the purpose of extending their learning at PlayFACTO School. The aim is to provide a holistic and enriching experience with a Positive focus.

By developing a greater understanding of positive values through a monthly thematic approach, students build strength of character. Goal setting and structured reflection encourages greater ownership for their own learning and further help them develop self-efficacy.

Chinese Booster

Our Language Skills programme supports students in reaching the standards expected for MOE’s primary school Mandarin curriculum. Each level of the programme focuses on developing listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through a variety of dynamic and age-appropriate teaching methods.

Through positive learning experiences in art, children observe and perceive the world with increased awareness and aesthetic sensitivity. Making art encourages the development of creativity and imaginative thinking while engendering a sense of self-worth and expression.

Creative Math

Through the effective use of play-based Math manipulatives, students find joy in learning of math concepts in a non-confrontational manner. Through gamification, students develop interest and confidence in the subject matter.  The activities support their cognitive development and promote higher-order thinking skills.

  • Understand the fundamentals of mathematics through hands-on activities and games
  • Develop problem-solving, critical-thinking, and communication skills with workbooks that build core skills required for academic success

DIY Science

DIY Science

Our students learn better when they perform science experiments themselves and witness first-hand the cause and effect of the experiment. In DIY Science, we aim to pique student’s curiosity using everyday items to experiment and explore the concepts of science.

Learning Objectives

  • Provide students with experiences which build on their interest in and stimulate their curiosity about their environment
  • Provide students with basic scientific terms and concepts to help them understand themselves and the world around them
  • Help students appreciate how science influences people and the environment

This enrichment programme is conducted during the holidays.

Outdoor Education

Outdoor learning enriches the lives of our students by building vital social and emotional skills. When they are outdoors, our children find space to reconnect with their surroundings and others. When children overcome obstacles and challenges when playing outdoors, it trains character and resilience.

  • Develop and maintain physical health and fitness through regular participation in physical activities
