About Our Coding / Robotics Programme

Introducing Singapore’s most interactive coding and robotics programme.

Our newest coding and robotics curriculum has been carefully designed, merging our years of experience in high-quality STEM manipulatives and toolkits. The design of the programme enables children to explore and discover both the worlds around them and their own ideas and strengths.

Our child-friendly robotic modules allow students to become an inventor, fulfilling their innate desire to innovate and problem-solve through computational thinking. Our series of robust modular units together with a design thinking process stimulates their innate curiosity and at the same time develops communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.

Junior Inventor (Beginner)

Classes are grouped by age range

  • The learning of IoT and robotics must include the basic understanding of electronic systems and programming. This makes complex theories meaningful and ties it to authentic real-world situations.
  • To facilitate your child’s learning of such complex concepts, children are introduced to real-life day to day projects such as the flashlight, electronic mixer and a mood lamp during their once-a-week robotics sessions.
  • All sessions include the use of our basic plug and play MODI modules that allow children to experience the principles of physical computing without programming knowledge. Coupled with our user-friendly graphical programming software, your child will be able to pick up coding and robotics in a cinch.
  • Immersing children in coding and robotics develops your child’s creativity and strengthens computational thinking and problem solving, motivating them to communicate and express their ideas through newly acquired knowledge.

Robo Maker (Intermediate)

ROBO MAKER

3 Terms | 36 Hand-on Lessons | Intermediate

Classes are grouped by age range

  • Building on basic coding knowledge acquired from the previous level, Robo Masters are exposed to intermediate coding and robotics concepts such as variables and math functions along with the use of mobile applications in real life IoT application.
  • To facilitate your child’s learning of such complex concepts, children will build their first robot from scratch using motors, sensors and LEGO pieces during their once-a-week coding and robotics sessions.
  • All sessions include the use of our basic and intermediate plug and play MODI modules that allow children to experience the principles of physical computing without programming knowledge. Coupled with our user-friendly graphical programming software, your child will be able programme his very first robot!
  • Immersing children in coding and robotics applications promotes creativity and strengthens computational-thinking and problem-solving, motivating them to communicate and express their ideas through newly acquired knowledge.

Maker Expert (Advanced)

Maker Expert

Classes are grouped by age range

  • Building on intermediate coding knowledge and IoT application of our MODI modules acquired from the previous level, children will apply their knowledge and skills acquired to execute a real-world project.
  • To facilitate your child’s new project work, they will by exposed to design thinking and project work skills to plan, test and design a prototype using the tools and mentorship provided during their once-a-week robotics sessions.
  • All sessions include access to our complete MODI Expert Kit, MODI Studio and materials that allow children to build, code and test out their prototype in a fun and conducive environment.
  • Immersing children in the application of Robotics IoT through real-world problems, promotes creativity and strengthens computational-thinking and problem-solving, motivating them to positively contribute in global concerns and lifelong learning.
